"King of the Mountain Men"
This is a picture of Jim Bridger to the left. He was born March 17, 1804 in Richmond, VA. He was a mountain man he also trapped animals and sold their fur. He and a guy made a little trading post called Fort Bridger. Jim's nickname was "King of The Mountain Men." He liked telling stories; one time he told a story about a Indian tribe chasing him and he'd sometimes stop for people to say what what happened after that Mr. Bridger then he said in a sad voice "they killed me."
